Once you join The Center for Health + Wellness, our Fitness Specialist will assist you in achieving your fitness goals by completing a fitness assessment and equipment orientation. Your assessment consist of checking your blood pressure, testing your strength, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance. The purpose of the assessment is to obtain your current level of fitness, find out your goals and exercise history in order to design an exercise routine specific to your needs.

Group Fitness Classes
We offer a wide array of group fitness classes, whether you like the traditional aerobic classes, yoga, pilates, water exercises, spinning or dance we have a class that will meet your needs. Classes are included in your monthly membership dues so take advantage of all that we have to offer. Some of the classes that we offer include:
Step - Creative and challenging step combinations designed to a wide range of fitness enthusiasts. A high intensity class.
X-Train - An intense cardio workout! Hi/lo aerobics, step, interval training, jump ropes, bands, and hand weights! A high intensity class.
Fat Burner - A variety of formats– step, hi/lo, bands, balls—will be used to keep it fun. A moderate intensity class.
Light-n-Lively - Designed for those that are new to the fitness world or those that want Low intensity—great for beginners and seniors!
Strength/Tone - Slow, controlled, rhythmic movements which are done while toning with the weights, balls and bands. Low intensity, high energy.
Yoga/Pilates - (Strength, Stretch and De-Stress) Invigorating class of stretches, breathing and postures—will increase flexibility and strength.
Spinning - A 45 min, high energy but non-impact indoor bicycle ride. This class integrates music, camaraderie and visualization. This intense physical workout calms and focuses the mind.
Power Plunge - It’s in the swimming pool! A high energy water workout with minimal impact. A cardio water workout safe for all fitness levels.
Warm Water - Soothe your soul while you work your body. Non-impact water class is taught in the therapy pool. Slow, rhythmic movements help improve strength, balance and range of motion. Low intensity, minimal impact water class.

Community Wellness Programs
At The Center for Health + Wellness we are concerned about our community so we offer wellness programs that are FREE to the public. These programs include:
Live Smart Series - These series of classes inform you on stress management, exercise, and heart healthy eating habits.
Chair Exercise Series - This class is designed for those who need range of motion, strengthening and stretching exercises. Ideal for arthritis patients and those with limited mobility.
Walk-n-Talk - Come stroll or strut, power walk or march in formation. Join our motivator, indoors on the walking track when the weather is bad and outside when the weather permits.
Health Education Classes - These are educational classes about controlling diabetes, heart healthy living, weight loss for life and smoking cessation offered Wednesdays at 9am.
